La prórroga de estancia por estudios mantiene la situación regular del estudiante extranjero mientras continúe sus estudios o inicie un nuevo programa formativo reconocido por la normativa.

What it covers

Aplica a estudios universitarios, de formación profesional, investigación, prácticas, movilidad académica o voluntariado. Se concede por la duración de los estudios.

Requirements

  • Matrícula o admisión en un programa formativo reconocido.
  • Medios económicos acreditados para el período solicitado.
  • Seguro médico público o privado con cobertura completa.
  • Aprovechamiento académico demostrable en el curso anterior (si aplica).

Autorización de estancia por estudios renovada, manteniendo el derecho a residir en España durante la duración del programa formativo.

Usual documents

  • Formulario EX00 debidamente cumplimentado y firmado.
  • Pasaporte completo en vigor.
  • TIE de estudiante actual (si se aplica).
  • Matrícula o admisión en el nuevo curso/programa.
  • Certificado académico del curso anterior (aprovechamiento).
  • Seguro médico con cobertura total.
  • Acreditación de medios económicos.
  • Tasas oficiales abonadas.

Timeline
